BOISE, Idaho – Boise State Athletics created the Experience Blue Fan Experience Committee to engage with passionate Bronco fans and supporters throughout the summer, with the goal of shaping upcoming enhancements to the Boise State football game day experience. The results of the committee’s work is set to be announced in the coming weeks.
Committee members were selected from a pool of applicants. All 17 committee members have Boise State football tickets, including 15 season ticket holders, with representation from the north, south, east and west sections of Albertsons Stadium, as well as the Stueckle Sky Center.
The Boise State Athletics Marketing and Community Engagement staff, led by assistant athletic director Matt Thomas, has hosted a series of meetings with the committee to seek feedback and input on three key areas of the Boise State football game day experience:
- Pregame outside the stadium
- Pregame during warmups and team stretch period
- In-game atmosphere
“The Experience Blue Fan Experience Committee was created to workshop new and innovative ways to engage with Bronco Nation on football game days,” said Matt Thomas. “We’ve taken a holistic approach to revamp the game day timeline to focus on fan-centered events and activations that create entertainment from the time our fans step on campus to the conclusion of the game.”
Throughout the process, additional areas of the athletic department have collaborated with the committee, including those with major fan-facing touch points such as parking, ticketing and concessions. The goal of the committee’s work is to bring meaningful and impactful change to the fan experience this season and beyond.
Single-game tickets, mini plans and various full-season packages are on sale now for the 2022 football season. Boise State kicks off its home schedule Sept. 17, against UT Martin.
