After consecutive weeks on the road to open the 2022 campaign, the Catamounts open the home slate on Sat., Sept. 17 by hosting Pioneer Football League (PFL) member Presbyterian at 3:30 p.m. at E.J. Whitmire Stadium / Bob Waters Field. The Catamounts will wear their all-white Nike uniforms with fans encouraged to wear their white WCU gear as we “White Out Whitmire” against the Blue Hose. WCU will also honor its selections to the Southern Conference’s 100th Anniversary team announced in 2021. Click here for the complete list of WCU’s SoCon 100th Anniversary Team honorees.

Western Carolina will host Family Weekend on Sat., Oct. 1 as VMI rolls into Cullowhee for a 3:30 p.m. kickoff. On Sat., Oct. 22, WCU will celebrate “Heroes Day” as it hosts The Citadel at 2 p.m., on a patriotic day that celebrates the U.S. armed forces, civil servants, and first responders.

The Catamounts celebrate Homecoming 2022 on Sat., Nov. 5 as conference-foe Wofford with a 2 p.m. kickoff. WCU downed the Terriers 41-21 in Spartanburg, S.C., a season ago

The 2022 home schedule concludes on Sat., Nov. 19 as WCU hosts preseason SoCon favorite Chattanooga on Senior Day with kickoff at 1 p.m. WCU will also induct its 33rd class into its Athletics Hall of Fame in conjunction with the final home date of the regular season.

Please be reminded that there are several changes taking place this season, so please plan accordingly to ensure you have a fantastic game day experience in #CatamountCountry. Some of these changes include the Catamount football team switching home sidelines, moving from the West side to the East or the press box side of E.J. Whitmire Stadium. WCU has also moved to a paid parking model for most on-campus parking options. Click here for details of the changes for the 2022 season.
